SCO, the firm which has taken on IBM in a lawsuit, has restated financial results for three quarters of the 2003-2004 financial year. The accounting errors at the root involved stock-based compensation to employees was displayed in the accounts. However the company claims that the change will not affect the previously reported operating performance. SCO, is currently fighting fires on all fronts. A failure to file accounts for the full year in time. As a consequence it has now been delisted from the NASDAQ Exchange. The action against IBM, concerns an alleged breach of copyright by the software behometh. Unix code it is alleged has been misused in Linux products. |
